You can also buy an additional antibacterial soap to keep it more dry and hygenic. Before wearing your socks , do keep it in your mind, that your feet should be dry. Sometime people are lazy and they don’t bother to dry their feet especially betwen the fingers and toes.
- Avoid smelly shoes: Don’t wear smelly shoes. Avoid wearing the same shoe daily, as they tends to become damp and wet with sweat. Try to dry your shoes regularly under the sun after you have used. Do have a habit of wearing sandals as they don’t cover the feet much and help to keep your feet fresh and dry.
- Wear Socks: Some of us usually like to wear sneakers without shoes, as it is stylish and makes us feel fresh . But its a bad practice, one should notgo out without wearing socks with his or her sneakers. This may be comfortable but without socks , the sweat of your feet stays in the shoes, making it smelly and bacterial prone. Cotton socks or woolen socks are both effective and comfortable, you can also go for anti-bacterial, breathable cotton socks which are available in the market.

Here are some of the natural remedies which can be followed to get rid of smelly feet. They are:
- White Vinegar:It is very helpful in treating your smelly feet as it disinfects the feet by deodorizing it. Take some amount of white vinegar and dilute in a warm water solution. Now place your feet in this solution for few minutes. Make sure that you properly check your feet before soaking it in the solution of white vinegar as it stings the abrasions etc. present on the skin, as white vinegar could sting if there will be any abrasions, cuts etc. on the skin.
- Lemons:These carry acidic property which makes them antibacterial as well. In order to soak your feet in a lemon solution, dilute some drops of lemon in a water solution and soak your feet in the solution for few minutes. Take proper care of any cuts and abrasions present at it might cause burning sensation on your feet.
- Tea Tree Oil:Just rub some amount of tea tree oil on your foot and it will kill all the bacteria and funguses present on the foot. As it smells good so it will provide a soothing effect to your feet as well.

-In 4 ounces of carrier oil (almond oil), add 12 drops each of cypress and rosemary essential oils. Apply this mixture on the legs, by gently stroking them in an upward motion. This is an effective way to treat varicose veins.
-Applying vitamin E oil or witch hazel tea to the affected area serves as a good home remedy for varicose veins.
-Take hot and cold hip bath, alternately. This would prove to be beneficial in curing varicose veins.
-Mix together 2 cups each of chopped calendula flowers, leaves and stems, along with melted lard. After about 24 hours, heat the mixture and strain it. Apply this over the varicose veins.
-Avoid having potatoes, starchy foods, condiments, alcohol, coffee, strong tea, white flour products and white sugar, when suffering from varicose veins.

Soothing Masks for Dry Skin

Aside from the discomfort and unsightliness, dry skin is also thought to be a contributing factor in the formation of wrinkles and fine lines within the skin.
Various treatments and cures for dry skin have been around for quite some time now, with sufferers of this predicament constantly searching for a better way to stop the suffering. While dry skin cannot be considered a disease, it is something that people desperately want to rid themselves of. Many of these various balms, lotions and other medications present on the market have been proven to help with relieving dry skin and finding the right one is just a matter of personal preference.
Nourishing mask for dry skin: mix 1 oz of cucumber juice, 1.5 oz of vegetable oil and 1 oz of lanolin cream. Apply on your face and throat for 10-15 min, then rinse the mask with warm water or herbal extract. Follow with your moisturizer.
If you have dry skin and tendency to pigmentation, mix 1 tea spoon of honey, 1 tea spoon of cottage cheese, 1 tea spoon of vegetable oil and 2 g of boric acid. Apply the mask on your face and throat for 15 min. Rinse it with warm water or herbal tea. Follow with your moisturizer.
Rejuvenating masks: grate 1 piece of squash, add 1 teaspoon of ground oatmeal and apply the mix on your face and throat for 15-20 min. You can also apply slices of raw squash on your face and throat for 20
min. Rinse both masks with raw milk.
Anti wrinkle mask for dry skin: grate some cabbage and boil it in milk until the cabbage becomes very soft. Apply the mask for 20 min on your face and throat.
For very dry skin mix 1 table spoon of boiled cabbage, 1 raw egg and 1 table spoon of vegetable oil. Apply the mask for 20 min.
Flaxseed mask soothes dry skin and helps if dry skin is peeling. Also flax seeds help dry skin to absorb the moisture. Take 1 table spoon of flax seeds, add 1 glass of boiling water and boil it until it thickens. Apply the mask on your face for 15 min and rinse it with warm water or herbal tea. Follow with your
moisturizer.

If you have red capillaries on your face, wet a cotton towel in raw potato juice and apply it on your cleansed face for 30 min. You can also drink 2 oz of fresh potato juice 3-4 times a day before meals.
Honey mask for dry skin for winter time: mix 2 table spoons of honey, 1 yogurt ( not sweet ) and 1 tea spoon of grated grapefruit peel. Apply the mask on your face and throat for 15 min. Wash it off with cool
black tea and follow with your moisturizer. Honey will absorb the toxins, yogurt will sooth and nourish your skin and grapefruit peel will help with your skin elasticity.
Mask for very thin, dry and withered skin: mash 2 peaches, add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply on your face and throat for 15-20 min. Wash it off with warm water and follow with your moisturizer.

Cucumber and olive oil mask
If you feel that your skin is dry or if you're desperate because it doesn't look to good especially during winter, here is a remedy mask to help you rejuvenate your dry facial skin. If the problems of your skin are too grave, then you can use this home made mask to get perfect results in a a short time.
3oz cucumber very finely diced
3tsp olive oil
2tsp live yogurt
Mix above ingredients into a fine paste. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes then wash off with cold water. Skin feels soft, conditioned and clean.

Olive oil brings nothing but great moisture to the skin. It nourishes the skin and moisturizes it but it does not have a greasy residue. It is easily absorbed by the skin leaving it smooth and supple. It is easily rinsed off with lukewarm water.
Finally, yogurt. Used for inflammation-prone skin, it contains alpha-hydroxy acid which have the ability to remove the dead skin cells. The result is rejuvenated, youthful looking skin.
